Allan is experienced in designing, implementing and reviewing enterprise risk management (ERM) governance and frameworks. His career spans 21 years providing international risk management consultancy preceded by 17 years in various management roles in the UK power sector. He provides strategic and operational risk management advice; project, programme and portfolio management services; and assurance services. He is knowledgeable in the design and implementation of learning from incidents, including linking the learning to forward-looking risk management, for continual improvement. Allan is experienced working with private sector and public sector organisations, and is a Specialist Member of the Institute of Risk Management (SIRM)
